Coloublia - Doubletree Docklands-
The notable Hotel chain has renovated its kitchen and presents Columbia, a nautical themed restaurant overseen by Chef Vernon Strachan. Enjoy a boat ride along the Thames and stop off at Canary Wharf, straight on to the restaurant’s private pier. With skyline views and al-fresco dining, look out to London at eye-level, sorry rooftops, we’re getting bored.
-
Columbia serves through from breakfast until dinner, a few signature dishes include Szechuan peppered squid and Devon crab on sourdough. Classic mains like; 28-day dry-aged rib-eye and sirloin, marinated lamb cutlers. Or opt for charcuterie sharing boards, salads and a selection of burgers. There’s also a BBQ menu for the terrace diners, skewers (tiger prawns, steak, stick pork belly) a mash up of sauces (peri peri, lemon and herb, crushed peanut).
-
Drink options are endless, cocktail classics are to be expected; mojitos, martinis, daiquiris, accompanied by signatures like the Miel 7 (Havana rum, Angostura bitters, orange juice) or try the Rosy Lee (Beefeater gin, lychee, liqueur and pink grapefruit). Additionally, a global selection of cigars, wines and champagnes makes this a perfect summer spot to let loose.
-
The immaculate hotel offers 379 guest rooms with a vista looking out across London’s River Thames to Canary Wharf – a key business, shopping and entertainment precinct – and is located downstream from international exhibition and event centres such as the O2 Arena and ExCel London.
