Ralph’s Coffee and Bar: Ralph Lauren opens a restaurant & bar in Central London

New to London’s Regent Street and landing just in the nick of time for London Fashion Week, Ralph’s Coffee and Bar, opened this week is global super brand Ralph Lauren‘s latest foray into the dining world.

With restaurants and watering holes already in New York, Paris and Chicago, this latest venture draws inspiration from the highly successful Polo Bar in Manhattan, with the smart equestrian aesthetic we’ve come to expect from the brand: think saddle leather banquettes and bar stools, a brass-topped bar, hunter-green walls and dark wood panelling adorned with equine art.

The cafe seats 24 with an additional 12 seats at the bar and serves coffee, cocktails, shared plates and snacks and light meals: expect oysters, tuna tartare and butternut squash soup and classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned and the Ridgway Margarita. The coffee itself is custom-roasted specifically for Ralph Lauren by cult craft coffee makers La Colombe, using organically-grown beans.

Described by Ralph Lauren himself as “a natural extension of the heritage of Polo, that will add yet another dimension to the worlds we create”, this sleek new addition to the London scene looks set to become a firm favourite amongst fashionistas and foodies alike.

Ralph’s Coffee and Bar is open between 10am and 8pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
