The Flavour Rooms at The Sanderson – cocktail sherbet walls, edible perfumes, twisted ‘salt and pepper’ shakers, alcoholic dip dab & more

Just in case you were running out of excuses to drink copious amounts of booze this festive period, Smith and Sinclair have got you covered. Adult Willy Wonkas of alcohol and edible wonders, the inventive, idiosyncratic team have launched The Flavour Rooms at the Sanderson Hotel, giving you an emporium of specially created products to blow your mind, your tastebuds, and your resolution not to drink too much on school nights. Think cocktail sherbet walls, pick ‘n’ mix, edible perfumes, twisted ‘salt and pepper’ shakers and alcoholic dip dabs to name but a few unusual tastes and flavours.

At Sanderson, the Flavour Rooms will sit comfortably alongside Smith and Sinclair at Purple bar, a cocktail collaboration space designed to excite and intrigue. A surreal infinity installation, beautifully designed by creative studio BeyondExact will feature, including never ending pastilles, interactive gallery plinths to showcase their products and mirrored lighting. Because drinking cocktails deconstructed into weird and wonderful creations is best enjoyed in appropriately bizarre surroundings. Better yet, if you want it all to yourself, the space is available for private bookings, just get in touch directly with the hotel.

You’ve got until Christmas eve to enjoy the extraordinary drinks and sweets on offer, so get down to one or the other (or both) while you can. The Flavour rooms will see you now.
