The London Cheese Festival – a fromage fest in Camden

If you love cheese as much as we do here at The Sinner, you’re in for a brie-lliant surprise, as on May 6th & 7th, Londoners are being treated to a spectacular fromage fest in the form of The London Cheese Festival – and entry is totally free. “No whey!” I hear you cry. We kid you not.

The first event from the London Cheese Project – a collective of cheese enthusiasts comprised of Matthew Carver, owner of The Cheese Truck, Kristen Schnepp, owner of Gringa Dairy in Peckham and food writer Patrick McGuigan – the festival will take place at Camden Market’s North Yard across the 6th and 7th of May.

Street food stalls will include grilled cheese sandwich specialists The Cheese Truck, halloumi fries makers Voodoo Ray’s, Oli Baba’s, Mac To The Future, Raclette Bros and Eloté; and there will be a plethora of urban cheesemakers showcasing the best cheese this city has to offer including Mexican cheese specialists Gringa Dairy, Bermondsey’s Kappacasein, mozzarella makers La Latteria, Wildes of Tottenham and Kupros Dairy, purveyors of British halloumi and feta.

Other treats include a bar serving craft beer, cocktails and of course wine; live music, stalls selling cheese related goodies and the aptly named Culture Club, a series of expert talks and tastings.

Come down and get a slice of the action. It’s gonna be grate.
