Venturin- London’s First Croatian Pop Up Restaurant

You: “What do you fancy tonight mate?”
Your mate: “Croatia…” (shrugs as if it’s an obvious answer)
You: “ey?!”

Totally get what you’re thinking as who the hell would opt for the unorthodox in such a situation, but The Sinner team are telling you now to renounce your faith and devotion to the omnipresence of the bog standard, cast aside the obvious choice and head to London’s first Croatian Pop-Up which is aiming to capture the essence of a Croatian Summer of Love and sprinkle it in the air for you inhale, exhale and basque in. We proudly introduce Venturin.

Venturin have shipped over the finest blend of Croatia in the form of their head Chef Maja Mackovic who is the skilful architect of a truly authentic Croatian menu due to her REPRESENTING Island Hvar & Island Vis in the kitchen. Please note, she’s a certified master in the kitchen having won an official award (GOLD), in the International Gastronomy Awards, amongst others.

The objective is to take visitors on a voyage through the depths Croatia’s illustrious waters to present a home-grown fish and seafood offering that screams splendid and breathes inspiration from a land so many of us have only recently begun to discover. To add, the word Venturin originates from Dalmatia and means “the last dark before the sunrise.” As ever, an element of Noir fuels the fire”…which is a Croatian saying that beautifully romanticises fishing by night.

We will remind you that this is a Pop-Up meaning, you’ve got a limited time to sample a surprise 5 course menu amidst the rustic and warm setup Venturin have created in Battersea. The staff demonstrate a clear pride in being able to bring Croatian cuisine to your palates are there to please.
