W Hotel London Sunday Brunch

The W Hotel has launched the most fantastic brunch concept which is a playground for adults, and I fully intend on going again, and again, and again.

Cross my heart hope to die- it’s the best way (in my book) to spend a Sunday afternoon and what’s more, you can get away with (nearly) dozing off in public without looking like a total weirdo.

Upon entering we were greeted by our lovely hostess Maria (hi Maria) who gave us some tartan slippers to add to the lazy concept of the brunch.

Free newspapers and a large array of sweets are readily available for you to enjoy.

Music is provided my the sassy DJ spinning chilled out lounge tunes on her decks.

The menu is exciting, great value for money and is beautifully presented. For only £25 per person, you and a guest can enjoy a delectable selection of traditional breakfast dishes and hearty Sunday lunch staples presented in individual portions where you decide when each course comes (any excuse to prolong your stay).

The first course was a jar of granola served with yoghurt and fruit (the gulit-free way to start our decadent adventure).

An afternoon-tea-like three-tiered trolley arrived consisting of scrumptious smoked haddock and salmon scotch eggs, caesar salad, huge slices of Welsh Rarebit and smoked salmon bagels.

The heartier of dishes was a golden Yorkshire pudding filled with the most tender slices of roast beef not shy of flavours. It was perfectly pink and squirted beef juice at every bite- simply fabulous. To accompany the meat, was moreish portions of truffle mac ‘n’ cheese.

As if we thought our afternoon couldn’t get any better, the brunch package also included the option of lazing around in their 39 seater private screening room to catch up on some sitcoms such as Absolutely Fabulous and New Girl.

I’ve already been, now it’s your turn, cos if you don’t go… well it’s your loss.
